In celebration of the American Libraries Association’s Preservation Week, the Pratt Institute Libraries Visual and Multimedia Resources Department will host a 16MM Film Workshop on the Brooklyn Campus:

What: 16MM Film Workshop

Date: Monday, April 22^nd, 2013

Location: Pratt Institute Library, Brooklyn Campus - Alumni Reading Room, 3^rd floor

Time: 3:00pm-4:30pm

Description: To mark the American Libraries Association’s Preservation Week (April 21-27), the Pratt Institute Libraries Visual and Multimedia Resources Department is hosting a hands-on workshop on 16mm film.  Participants will learn about the history of the format and get a chance to learn about film preservation issues, splicing, cleaning, and loading film onto a projector.  Some short films from the Libraries’ 16mm collection will be featured.
