Alternative Press Index 

An international and interdisciplinary index to non-mainstream, alternative sources of information in the humanities and the social sciences, focusing on ecology, labor, socialism, democracy, national liberation, indigenous peoples, and gender issues. Indexes 300 alternative, Left, and radical newspapers, magazines and periodicals.

ARTbibliographies Modern 

Abstracts of journal articles, books, essays, exhibition catalogs, dissertations and exhibition reviews with comprehensive bibliographic coverage of modern and contemporary art, architecture, design and photography. The time period coverage includes the 19th and 20th centuries. Covers literature published since 1974. A list of periodicals indexed is available. Updated monthly.

Art Full-Text and Art Retrospective  

Indexes citations to articles from over 600 journals published worldwide with broad coverage of art-related topics including fine, applied and media arts, architecture, anddatasub design. Also indexes reproductions of works of art that appear in the indexed journals. A list of periodical titles for either Art Index or Art Index Retrospective is available.

Avery Index 

Most comprehensive listing of journal articles on architecture and design, history and practice of architecture, landscape architecture, city planning, historic preservation and interior design and decoration. Indexes articles from nearly 800 US and foreign architectural journals published worldwide, 75% of which are not indexed in any other source. Includes articles from previous electronic version as well as records converted from Avery Library card file, with records dating from the 1860s to the present. A list of periodical titles indexed is available.

Bibliography of the History of Art 

The Bibliography of the History of Art indexes and abstracts articles, art-related books, conference proceedings, dissertations, and art exhibition and dealer's catalogs. This extensive and comprehensive index covers European and American art from late antiquity to the present.

Business & Company Resource Center 

Search for information about brands, companies and corporations, company profiles and histories, investment reports, news articles, and press releases. A title list of journals and other sources is available.

Business Full-Text 

Full text of articles from over 400 publications as far back as 1995. Quality abstracting and indexing of more than 800 publications as far back as 1982. Search using the Wilson subject thesaurus developed specifically for this product.

Design and Applied Arts Index (DAAI) 

Indexes over 500 journals that cover industrial design, interior design, fashion, graphic design, typography, packaging, etc., since 1973. Supplementary databases provide contact information for craft & design organizations, special collections of design & craft, design & craft education programs, and periodicals. Online help is available. Coverage is worldwide. Updated annually.

EBSCO General Science Collection

EBSCO General Science Collection provides information on all aspects of the scientific world and offers full-text coverage for more than 60 of the most popular science publications, including Archaeology, Astronomy, Discover, National Wildlife, New Scientist, Popular Science, Science News, Scientific American, and many others. Subject areas covered include the observation, description, identification, and experimental investigation of phenomena and the application of science to industrial or commercial objectives. The database also includes Great Scientific Achievements of the Twentieth Century, a multi-volume encyclopedia from Salem Press.

EBSCO MasterFile Select | (Novel)

Contains full text and citations for articles from over 750 journals and newspapers in all subjects. A list of titles covered is available.

Encyclopædia Britannica 

Includes the print Encyclopedia Britannica as well as Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary and Thesaurus, Britannica Student Encyclopedia and the Britannica Book of the Year. Nearly 120,000 articles and 14,000 illustrations.

ERIC  | Freely available on the Internet

Contains annotated references to nonjournal material in the monthly Resources in Education (RIE) and to journal articles issued in the monthly Current Index to Journals in Education (CIJE). Contains almost 1 million records from over 2,000 titles published since 1966. A list of sources is available. Updated monthly.

Humanities Full-Text

Humanities Full-Text is a full text database that provides digital versions of a large array of prestigious academic journals in disciplines ranging from Anthropology, the Arts, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Literature, Literary Criticism to further support the Humanities, Art, and Social Science scholarship at the Institute. Humanities Full-Text provides access to over 500 journals in these disciplines.

InfoTrac Custom Newspapers | (Novel)

This database includes over 150 full text newspapers, including 7 New York State newspapers and the New York Times, which is indexed in full text for the full current year.

Library Literature 

Indexes the contents of books, journals, conference proceedings, library school theses, pamphlets, and book reviews in the literature of Library and Information Science published since 1980. Contains over 185,000 citations from English- and non-English-language sources.

National Newspaper Index | (Novel)

This index provides indexing (1977-present) of America's top five newspapers: The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Christian Science Monitor, Los Angeles Times and the Washington Post.

New York State Newspapers 

Full-text indexing (1985- present) of several major New York State newspapers, including the New York Times and the New York Post.

OmniFile

A multi-disciplinary database providing the complete content - indexing, abstracts, and full text - from six of Wilson's full-text databases: Education Full Text, General Science Full Text, Humanities Full Text, Readers' Guide Full Text, Social Sciences Full Text, and Wilson Business Full Text.
