Gift Policy The Library accepts gifts
and funds for materials using the same criteria it applies to purchases.
However, the Library reserves the right to make use of donations as materials
for exchange or sale in order to best strengthen the collection. The Library
determines the cataloging, classification, housing and circulation policies
of gift materials.
Kevin Madill Archives Gift Policy The Pratt Institute Archives is always interested in collecting materials relevant to the history of Pratt Institute. Individuals who wish to donate historical documents to the Archives should first contact the Archivist, who reserves the right to refuse potential donations that fall outside the scope of the Archives' collection guidelines. The Archives is unable to accept or return unsolicited gifts. As with Library gifts, the Archives will acknowledge donations in writing but cannot make monetary appraisals for tax or other purposes.
