Service Mission
The mission of the Libraries and Multi-Media Services of Pratt Institute is to facilitate the overall mission of the Institute, primarily through supporting and enriching the curriculum. Key activities in accomplising this mission are developing and conserving collections and providing many levels of access to encourage academic excellence by promoting scholarship, creativity, research, and information literacy. Pratt students, faculty, staff, administration, alumni, Friends of the Library, and to some extent, the larger scholarly community make up the clientele served.
