Pratt Institute Libraries

Visual Resources Center

The Visual Resources Center (VRC) is a division of the Pratt Institute Libraries, located on the Third floor of the Brooklyn Campus Library. The VRC houses a collection of over 120,000 architecture, art and design color slides, a growing digital image collection hosted through ARTstor, and scanning workstations for public use.

The VRC is open to Pratt faculty, staff, and students with a valid Pratt ID card.  Pratt alumni with a valid Alumni Card and visiting faculty during the summer (pre-college program) and winter sessions, may use the VRC scanners, but are not entitled to borrow slides.  Faculty with a valid Pratt ID card may request digital images for inclusion in the Pratt Institute Libraries Digital Image Collection, hosted online through ARTstor.
